Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity role based in Kochi. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a strong sales pipeline, and drive revenue growth for CyberDisti’s cybersecurity portfolio. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with enterprise and mid-market customers, partners, and resellers; conducting customer needs assessments; preparing and delivering tailored solution proposals and presentations; and leading negotiations through to deal closure. The role will also collaborate with technical and vendor teams to align solutions with customer requirements, participate in go-to-market planning, support marketing campaigns and events, and provide regular sales forecasts and market feedback to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in cybersecurity, IT security, or technology distribution.
- Strong skills in prospecting, pipeline management, opportunity qualification, and deal closing in a B2B environment.
- Ability to understand and articulate cybersecurity concepts and solutions (e.g., network security, endpoint security, cloud security, security operations) in business terms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at multiple levels.
- Experience working with channel partners, system integrators, and vendors, including joint planning and co-selling.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools and sales reporting to track activities, opportunities, and forecasts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant sales or cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team setting.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, partner visits, and industry events as required.
