Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for acquiring new corporate clients and driving revenue growth for Commutec’s corporate car rental and mobility services.
The role involves identifying potential corporate clients, understanding their travel and transportation requirements, and offering customized car rental and employee transport solutions. The candidate will manage the complete B2B sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure and work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and acquire new corporate clients for car rental and mobility services.
Generate business through corporate networking, cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and referrals.
Meet corporate clients to understand their business travel and transport requirements.
Present Commutec’s corporate car rental and mobility solutions to potential clients.
Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate service agreements.
Manage the complete B2B sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure consistent follow-ups.
Guide and coordinate with inside sales team for lead generation activities.
Identify opportunities for upselling services such as airport transfers, event transport, and long-term rentals.
Work closely with operations and service teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new corporate clients.
Maintain records of sales activities, meetings, and business opportunities.
Candidate Profile
5–10 years of experience in Business Development / Corporate Sales / B2B Sales.
Experience in Corporate Car Rental, Mobility Services, Employee Transportation, or Travel Industry preferred.
Proven experience in corporate client acquisition and revenue generation.
Strong network with HR, Admin, Procurement, or Travel Desk teams within corporate organizations.
Experience working with or guiding inside sales / lead generation teams is an advantage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
MBA in Sales / Marketing preferred.
