Business Development Manager (BDM) – Contract Staffing / Staff Augmentation

Industry Focus: IT Staffing & Staff Augmentation (Life Sciences staffing experience preferred)
Job Summary
Vueverse is looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with strong experience in IT staffing and staff augmentation sales. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in client acquisition, account growth, and closing staffing deals across IT and emerging technologies. Experience in Life Sciences staffing will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end business development for IT staffing and staff augmentation services.
- Identify, approach, and acquire new clients across IT and Life Sciences domains.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
- Generate staffing opportunities through networking, cold outreach, references, and market research.
- Understand client hiring needs and coordinate with recruitment teams for timely closures.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and staffing agreements.
- Manage client accounts and ensure consistent delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with internal recruitment teams to ensure quality delivery and faster turnaround.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging staffing opportunities.
Mandatory Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Business Development within IT Staffing / Staff Augmentation.
- Strong experience in selling staffing and resource augmentation services is mandatory.
- Proven track record of client acquisition and revenue generation.
- Good understanding of contract staffing, permanent hiring, and RPO models.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently drive the complete sales cycle.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Life Sciences / Pharma staffing is preferred.
- Existing client network in IT, GCCs, product companies, or consulting firms is a plus.
- Familiarity with emerging technology hiring (AI/ML, Cloud, Data, DevOps, Cybersecurity, etc.) is advantageous.
