Role Description The Business Development Manager – Chennai & Lucknow is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai & Lucknow responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion for SRUJAN MEDITECH’s product portfolio. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with hospitals, clinics, and distributors, and conducting regular client meetings and product presentations. The Business Development Manager will analyze market trends, prepare sales plans, negotiate contracts and pricing, and ensure timely follow-up on leads and inquiries. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams on forecasts and inventory, monitoring competitor activities, and preparing periodic reports on sales performance and customer feedback.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or key account management in medical devices, healthcare, or related industries.
- Strong skills in market research, lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, prepare proposals, and present technical products to clinical and administrative stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in regional languages is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent qualification is an added benefit.
- Comfort with frequent local travel, field visits, and on-site client interactions in targeted markets.
- Self-driven, organized, and capable of working with minimal supervision while meeting targets and deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, basic MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and reporting practices.
