Position: Business Development Manager – Project Sales
Location: Chennai
Experience: 10 – 20 years
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – Project Sales to drive growth through strategic relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, and project stakeholders. The role demands strong exposure to project-based sales, from specification to execution, within the building materials / interior solutions / construction-related industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive project sales business in Indore and surrounding regions
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with architects, interior designers, PMC consultants, builders, and developers
- Ensure product specification and approval in upcoming and ongoing projects
- Track projects from design stage to order closure and execution
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Conduct regular market mapping and identify new project opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order execution
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends
- Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums
Job Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
- 10–12 years of experience in project sales
- Mandatory experience handling architects & interior designers
- Strong exposure to specification-based selling
- Proven track record of achieving project sales targets
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of the Indore / MP project market
