Role Description
We are seeking a driven and independent B2B Sales Specialist to represent Marg Collective within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) ecosystem.
This is not a conventional sales role. You will be responsible for building and nurturing a strong network of architects, interior designers, and developers—positioning Marg Collective as a trusted design partner rather than just a vendor.
Operating in a flexible, hybrid setup, your role will focus on generating opportunities, closing high-value projects, and driving long-term collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Expansion: Proactively identify, connect with, and pitch to leading architects, interior designers, and real estate developers to build a steady pipeline of B2B projects.
- Relationship Ownership: Act as the primary point of contact for all B2B partners—managing relationships from initial outreach to project closure and beyond.
- Market Intelligence: Keep a pulse on industry trends, new project launches, and competitor movements to position Marg Collective as the preferred partner.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with our internal design and production teams to ensure client specifications and timelines are met with precision.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years in B2B sales within the furniture, building materials, or luxury interior industry.
- The Network: A pre-existing, active roster of architects and builders is a massive advantage.
- Self-Driven: As a contractual, hybrid team member, you must be a highly motivated self-starter who thrives on autonomy, target-driven results, and closing deals.
- Soft Skills: Confident in pitching across contexts—whether on-site at a construction project or in a formal client presentation.
- Commercial & Design Sensibility: Ability to understand design intent and translate it into viable, high-quality furniture solutions.
