Job Overview
We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and expand market presence across corporate segments especially the banking and FI segment. The role will focus on selling fintech-led solutions including positioning an elite suite of lifestyle-led benefit solutions, prepaid cards, expense management, loyalty & rewards programs, and travel offerings, while building a strong pipeline and closing high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition by identifying, prospecting, and onboarding enterprise and mid-market clients.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through market mapping, networking, and outbound strategies.
- Pitch and sell solutions across payments, prepaid instruments, expense management, loyalty/reward programs, and travel offerings.
- Engage with key decision-makers (CXOs, Product Teams, Finance Heads, HR Heads, Procurement) to understand business needs and position relevant solutions.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycle – from lead generation, pitching, negotiation, to closure.
- Ensure all deals are commercially viable and aligned with organizational profitability goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, operations) to tailor solutions and improve conversion rates.
- Drive cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with account management teams.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and identify new growth opportunities in fintech and corporate solutions.
- Maintain accurate reporting on pipeline, conversions, revenue, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies during client acquisition and engagement.
Qualification & Exposure
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B sales / business development in fintech, banking, SaaS, or payments industry.
- Proven track record of hunting roles (new client acquisition) and achieving aggressive sales targets. Strong understanding of corporate cards, prepaid solutions, expense management, or loyalty/rewards ecosystem.
- Experience in consultative and solution-based selling.
- Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure banking rewards programs and platforms.
- Understanding of fintech ecosystem, including capital market-linked offerings is a plus.
- Strong prospecting and lead generation skills (cold calling, networking, partnerships).
