Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Indore Madhya Pradesh for a Business Development Manager. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients and carriers, and negotiating contracts to achieve revenue growth. The individual will also be responsible for devising strategies to penetrate new markets, preparing proposals, and attending meetings with clients to understand their logistics needs. Additionally, the role includes tracking sales performance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing excellent customer service to foster long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in business development strategies and market penetration tactics
- Knowledge of freight solutions and logistics, including experience in transport or freight forwarding sectors
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a target-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Logistics, or a related field
- Prior experience in the logistics and transportation industry is highly desirable
