Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager, location Pan India. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing lasting client relationships, and driving sales for solar energy services. Responsibilities include managing business strategies, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, conducting market research, and collaborating with internal teams to meet business objectives. The Business Development Manager will also represent the company at events and foster relationships with potential industry partners.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, and client relationship management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in market research, analysis, and strategic planning
- Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, particularly in solar energy and power trading
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and meet targets
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate complex business challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
- Experience with power purchase agreements (PPAs) and energy consultancy is advantageous
