Hiring Business Development Manager

This is a senior, relationship-led, solution-selling role. You will not be cold-calling your way in – you are being hired for the network you already have inside the cricket ecosystem, the credibility you carry there, and your ability to convert long-standing relationships into commercial wins.

Position Overview
We are hiring a Business Development Manager to take our cricket technology solutions, spanning performance, broadcast, match-officiating and fan-engagement, to market. Key solution buyers are cricket boards, leagues, professional clubs and high-performance academies in India and around the world.
Key Responsibilities
Cricket Ecosystem Coverage
- Lead commercial coverage of the primary segment – cricket boards, national federations, leagues and franchises – in India and one anchor international market.
- Be the trusted senior point of contact for decision-makers across this ecosystem.
- Map opportunities across our solution portfolio.
Solution Selling
- Run a senior, consultative sales process – understand the customer’s strategic priority and shape the right solution narrative around it.
- Lead proposals, technical scoping with the product team, and contract negotiations end-to-end.
- Structure non-vanilla commercial models – capex, lease, revenue-share, multi-year licence – to suit each buyer.
- Drive closure, advance collections, and a clean handover to delivery.
Pipeline & Partnerships
- Build a clear named-account plan across India and priority international markets.
- Activate referral and channel partners across the cricket and sports infrastructure ecosystem.
- Represent the company at industry events, cricket forums and trade shows; build category presence.
- Own forecasts, CRM hygiene and reporting on bookings, pipeline coverage, deal velocity and win rate.
Required Experience - Must Have
- Prior, hands-on commercial experience in the cricket ecosystem – selling solutions to boards, leagues, franchises, clubs or high-performance academies.
- 5 – 10 years of B2B solution-selling experience, with a clear track record of closing high-value, considered-purchase deals.
- Active relationships in at least one international cricket market (e.g. UK, Australia, Middle East, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, USA) in addition to India.
- Strong solution-selling instincts – comfort scoping a tailored offer, building ROI cases and navigating multi-stakeholder closes.
- Hands-on, founder-mindset operator – willing to own outcomes end-to-end and travel extensively.
