Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead both business development and P&L responsibilities within our Aerospace and engineering vertical. The ideal candidate will combine strong client relationships and sales acumen with operational and financial oversight to grow strategic accounts, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive sustainable profitability in consulting and digital service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Account Growth
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with aerospace OEMs, suppliers, and related industry players.
- Expand existing client relationships by understanding business needs and proposing tailored digital solutions (software/data engineering, systems integration, AI, cloud, PLM, etc.).
- Lead bid responses, RFPs, and contract negotiations in collaboration with technical and delivery teams.
- Represent the company at industry forums, trade shows, and client workshops to enhance visibility and influence.
- Build strategic partnerships and alliances to strengthen service portfolio and market reach.
P&L Ownership & Delivery Oversight
- Own the P&L for assigned accounts or business unit, ensuring revenue targets, gross margin, and profitability KPIs are met.
- Monitor project delivery performance, team utilization, and cost control in collaboration with delivery managers.
- Ensure financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis are accurately maintained and acted upon.
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions to secure business sustainability and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to workforce planning and skills development aligned to market evolution and account needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 10 –18 years of experience in business development, program management, or account management, in the aerospace and/or digital and engineering services especially with European headquartered and European culture.
- Proven experience managing full P&L responsibility, with strong analytical and financial skills.
- Strong experience in working with Aerospace OEMs and large companies and understanding of aerospace sector business models, engineering and manufacturing processes, and digital transformation levers.
- Experience in P&L management in Europe and India with high level of autonomy
- Experience in developing partnerships and eco-systems
- Strong experience in developing and managing Business and services for Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer service
- Knowledge of key digital technologies (ERP, PLM,…), Engineering / Manufacturing / Customer Service key software
