About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager with strong prior experience in generating business for a marketing and advertising agency. The ideal candidate should be confident in outreach, networking, lead generation, and converting prospects into long-term clients.
This is a growth-focused role for someone who understands agency sales and knows how to bring in revenue consistently.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
- Generate new business opportunities for the agency
- Own & Execute cold outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients
- Identify and engage relevant business communities, networking groups, and industry circles
- Achieve mutually discussed monthly conversion and revenue targets
- Coordinate with the internal creative and marketing teams for proposal development
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and reporting system
- Attend networking events, business meetups, and relevant communities when required
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in business development for a marketing/advertising agency
- Proven track record of getting clients and closing deals
- Strong communication and pitching skills
- Experience with cold calling and lead generation
- Understanding of branding, social media marketing, performance marketing, and digital campaigns
- Self-driven and target-oriented mindset
- Existing network and industry connections will be an added advantage
Compensation
- Fixed Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000/month
- Attractive commission/incentive structure on successful conversions
Preferred: Candidates who have previously worked with digital marketing agencies, creative agencies, branding firms, or advertising agencies will be preferred.
