SME Chamber of India is dedicated to supporting and promoting small and medium enterprises across the nation. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development & Marketing Manager to join our team in Mumbai to join our mission of empowering SMEs and making India a global manufacturing hub. This role is pivotal in driving our growth by identifying new business opportunities and enhancing our marketing efforts. Chamber actively focuses on business transformation, knowledge enhancement, and skill improvement for SMEs. It also connects SMEs with governmental agencies, large corporations, and international partners to facilitate business opportunities.
Role Overview:We are seeking a result-oriented Business Development Manager responsible for expanding the Chamber’s network, driving revenue, and strengthening relationships with SMEs, corporates, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategies to onboard new members and partners
- Promote participation in national and international events, summits, and delegations
- Build and maintain relationships with CXOs, founders, and industry leaders
- Identify sponsorship and collaboration opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams for successful execution of events and initiatives
- Achieve revenue targets through memberships, partnerships, and event participation
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 2–6 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or partnerships
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
- Experience in industry associations, events, or SME ecosystem preferred
