Job Description
SkyyRider Electric Private Limited is looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive business growth, expand the dealer and distributor network, and lead the sales team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and proven experience in team handling and business development.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Identify and onboard new dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, corporate clients, and business partners.
Lead, mentor, and manage the business development team to ensure high performance.
Identify new market opportunities and drive business expansion.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
Prepare business proposals, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and service teams.
Monitor team performance and prepare sales reports and MIS.
Represent the company at client meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
6–10 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Channel Management, preferably in the EV or Automobile industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven experience in team handling and leadership.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Target-oriented with the ability to drive business growth.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel as required.
