Role Description The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and expanding the company’s presence in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. This full-time, on-site role involves meeting prospective and existing clients, presenting service offerings, negotiating pricing and contracts, and closing deals. The role includes collaborating with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth delivery of travel solutions, gathering market insights, and recommending improvements in offerings and processes. The Business Development Manager will also track sales performance, prepare reports, participate in promotional activities, and represent the company at local events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in business development, sales, and client relationship management, with the ability to identify and convert new opportunities.
- Experience in account management, negotiation, and contract handling within transportation, travel, or related service industries.
- Solid communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English; local language fluency is an advantage.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze competition, and develop practical growth strategies for the Greater Ahmedabad Area.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic digital communication platforms for reporting and client engagement.
- Proven organizational and time-management abilities, including planning routes, meetings, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in bus services, tour operations, or travel and hospitality is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to travel locally within the Greater Ahmedabad Area and maintain a professional, service-oriented approach.
