Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager based in Kollam. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building partnerships, and developing strategies to expand the company’s reach and client base. Key responsibilities include meeting sales targets, managing client relationships, conducting market research, and collaborating with internal departments to enhance service offerings. The role will involve consistent engagement with local stakeholders and promoting the company’s products and services to meet market needs.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and relationship management skills to identify opportunities and foster partnerships
- Proficiency in market research, strategic planning, and sales analysis
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities for engaging with diverse stakeholders
- Proven experience in team collaboration and working with cross-functional departments
- Comprehensive knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly general insurance products, is a plus
- Familiarity with local markets and clients in Kollam for targeted business opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work effectively under deadlines
