Role Description
We are looking for a high-energy Business Development professional who is excited about building businesses from the ground up and creating long-term business impact. The role is India customer network focused initially, with potential to evolve into an international commercial role.
What you'll do
- Drive business development across Personal Care, Food, Textiles, Agro and Pharma
- Build strategic customer relationships anf grow revenues
- Drive the complete commercial cycle — customer development to commercialization
- Work closely with R&D, application and innovation teams in India and the US
- Engage with decision-makers, formulators, procurement and technical teams
- Bring market intelligence and customer insights into business strategy
Qualifications
- 6–8 years of B2B experience in Specialty Chemicals, Ingredients or Bio-based materials
- Strong understanding of one or more focus sectors in the Indian market
- Experience in technical sales and customer qualification processes
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel across India
- Educational Qualification : BE/B.Tech (Chemical preferred) + MBA
Strong advantage if you have exposure to:
✔ Bio-based or natural ingredients
✔ Textiles Chemicals or Denim
✔ Specialty Chemical Companies or Distribution Houses
