Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for a result-driven Business Development Manager (Individual Contributor) to drive end-to-end client acquisition and conversion for our Private Labelling division.
The role involves managing the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to proposal, meetings, negotiation, and final conversion, through both offline and online channels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Qualification
* Work on incoming and self-generated leads
* Qualify leads based on business potential and requirements
* Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
2. Proposal & Client Pitching
* Prepare and share commercial proposals/quotations with clients
* Explain offerings and solutions clearly to clients
* Drive proposal discussions with a focus on conversion
3. Meetings, Negotiation & Conversion
* Conduct client meetings (online & face-to-face)
* Handle pricing discussions and commercial negotiations
* Drive end-to-end conversion and deal closure
* Ensure consistent follow-ups until closure
4. Sales Coordination
* Coordinate with internal teams for feasibility and execution
* Ensure smooth transition from closure to onboarding
* Align client requirements with internal capabilities
5. Market Outreach & Business Development
* Generate business through field visits, networking, LinkedIn, references, and industry contacts
* Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and events for client acquisition
* Identify new opportunities, partnerships, and untapped markets
* Take ownership of any additional initiatives that contribute to business growth
Desired Candidate Profile:
Experience:
* 5–7 years in hardcore Business Development / Sales
* Experience in Private Labelling / Contract Manufacturing / Wellness / Pharma / FMCG preferred
* Proven track record in client acquisition and deal closures
Skills Required:
* Strong negotiation and closing skills
* Ability to qualify leads and convert business independently
* Strong communication and relationship-building ability
* Target-driven and result-oriented mindset
Qualification:
* B.Sc / M.Sc (Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology) OR
* B.Pharm / M.Pharm
Additional Requirement:
* Open to travel for client meetings, exhibitions, and business development activities
