Job Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced & growth-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) who can identify, approach & onboard international clients for our eCommerce management & website development services.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with USA & European clients & must possess a strong understanding of:
- eCommerce ecosystems
- Marketplace management services
- Website development & maintenance projects
- Client acquisition & relationship management
Responsibilities:
- Identify & develop new business opportunities with global vendors & sellers.
- Build & nurture strong relationships with potential & existing clients to drive business growth.
- Develop & implement strategic sales plans to achieve organisational revenue targets.
- Work closely with the marketing & account management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding & support.
- Guide, mentor & inspire the sales team to achieve & surpass performance targets.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities & potential partnerships.
- Prepare & deliver compelling presentations & proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts & close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Represent RootAMZ at industry events, trade shows & networking opportunities to enhance brand presence & develop partnerships.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, sales performance & pipeline updates to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify & generate new business opportunities from international markets (USA & Europe)
- Build & maintain relationships with brands, manufacturers & eCommerce sellers
- Pitch RootAMZ services including:
- Amazon account management
- PPC & advertising services
- Website development & maintenance
- Marketplace expansion services
- Conduct client discovery calls & understand project requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare proposals, quotations & project scopes
- Maintain sales pipelines & follow-ups through CRM systems
- Achieve monthly & quarterly revenue targets
- Stay updated with eCommerce industry trends & marketplace changes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements
- Prior experience working with USA & European clients
- Experience in:
- eCommerce management services
- Website development & maintenance services
- International service sales/business development
- Strong communication & presentation skills
- Ability to understand technical & operational client requirements
- Experience in lead generation, client acquisition & account handling
Preferred Experience:
Candidates with experience in the following areas will be highly preferred:
- Amazon Vendor Central / Amaozn Seller Central ecosystem
- Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or WordPress projects
- Marketplace management agencies
- Digital marketing or PPC services
- International B2B sales
