Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager based in New Delhi. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with partners and clients, and expand upniva network in the financial services sector. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and onboarding new channel partners, conducting meetings and presentations, negotiating and closing deals, and tracking performance against sales and growth targets. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to refine offerings, gathering market insights, and ensuring a high standard of customer and partner satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and deal negotiation.
- Knowledge of financial products and services, with the ability to explain offerings clearly to partners and customers.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in stakeholder engagement and professional correspondence.
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities to assess market trends, identify growth opportunities, and meet performance targets.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts, meetings, and follow-ups effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; relevant experience in financial services or fintech is an advantage.
- Comfort working in an on-site, fast-paced environment in New Delhi and willingness to travel locally for meetings as needed.
