Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Coimbatore. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, and drive revenue growth for AI, ERP, app modernization, cybersecurity, and digital marketing services. Responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing proposals and presentations, leading client meetings and demos, and collaborating with technical and delivery teams to shape solutions. The role also involves managing the end-to-end sales cycle, negotiating contracts, maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts, and providing regular reports and forecasts to leadership. The Business Development Manager will work closely with marketing to support campaigns, participate in industry events, and represent PPTS in the market.
Qualifications
- Proven business development, sales, or account management experience in IT services, software, or related technology domains.
- Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals with B2B clients.
- Ability to understand and position solutions related to AI, ERP systems, application modernization, cybersecurity, and digital services.
- Experience in preparing and delivering compelling client presentations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven approach to sales planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including technical, delivery, and marketing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving client needs and emerging technologies.
- Prior experience in the Coimbatore or broader Indian IT services market is a plus.
