Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Hyderabad. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including building and managing a pipeline of prospective customers for home appliance, electronics, furniture, and fitness equipment rentals. The role involves conducting market research, developing outreach strategies, and meeting potential clients through calls, meetings, and on-site visits to understand their needs. The individual will negotiate and close rental agreements, collaborate with operations and customer support teams to ensure smooth onboarding, and monitor key metrics such as conversion rates and revenue growth. The role also includes maintaining strong client relationships, gathering feedback to improve services, and representing payrentz at local events or partnerships to expand brand presence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in consumer services, real estate, retail, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management, with the ability to convert inquiries into long-term rental relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with a customer-focused and consultative approach.
- Comfort with basic data analysis, CRM tools, and reporting to track performance, identify trends, and inform strategy.
- Ability to work on-site, engage with clients face-to-face, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Self-motivated, target-driven mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Familiarity with the Hyderabad market and local customer preferences is an advantage.
