Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager based in Trivandrum. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with clients and partners, and driving strategies to achieve revenue growth. Key responsibilities include market research, networking, preparing business proposals, liaising with organizations, and collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to maximize business potential. Additionally, the role involves analyzing market trends and customer needs to develop tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales and marketing team
- Plan and execute business growth strategies
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Monitor team performance and ensure target achievement
- Generate new business opportunities and client relationships
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and lead generation activities
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups
- Prepare sales reports and business development plans
- Support branding, partnerships, and institutional collaborations
Required Skills
- Strong team handling and leadership skills
- Sales target management experience
- Marketing and business development knowledge
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to motivate teams and drive performance
- Good presentation and client handling skills
- Digital marketing knowledge is an added advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- EdTech industry experience is mandatory
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience required
- Kerala-based candidates preferred
- Candidates from Trivandrum or willing to relocate are encouraged to apply
- IT, training, or cybersecurity industry experience is an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 3–4 years experience required in Business Development / Sales / Marketing
- Prior team handling experience preferred
