About Nova
Nova is an autonomous AI agent platform for finance and compliance teams. Our agents handle the daily grind: TDS, GST recon, AP automation, forensic checks, ERP integrations. Customers build agents in plain English and put them in production in hours.
Small founding team. You'll work directly with the founder and engineers.
The role
You take hot leads and turn them into customers. You also build your own pipeline.
The Growth Manager feeds you leads. You work them, work your network, run your own outbound, and build relationships in the Indian finance community. You own the cycle end to end, from first touch to signed MSA.
A typical week:
- First-meeting demos with finance heads, CFOs, controllers, from both inbound and your own outbound
- Deeper second and third conversations with active deals
- Building your own outbound using AI, working your LinkedIn network, asking for referrals from closed customers
- Trial setups, proposal drafts, follow-up sequences, all built with AI
- Sync with the senior sales lead on strategy, pricing, and tough deals
- Weekly debrief on what objections are showing up, what's converting, what's not
You're a fit if
- 3-5 years closing B2B SaaS deals in the mid-market, with consistent quota attainment
- You've built your own pipeline in past roles, not just worked SDR-fed leads. Show us a deal you sourced yourself end to end.
- You're in Mumbai or ready to move. We work from our Mulund office, Monday to Friday, in person.
- You can hold a conversation with a CFO without fumbling. You don't need to be a CA, but you need to know enough about how finance teams operate to ask sharp questions.
- You build with AI tools daily. Outbound sequences, proposals, follow-up emails, customer research, demo prep, you use Claude or similar to move faster than the rep next to you.
- You write well. Short outbound DMs that get replies. Proposals people actually read.
- You're hungry. We want someone who's motivated to close.
You're probably not a fit if
- You're early-career and haven't closed deals on your own yet
- You're used to large-company sales motions (CRM rituals, 8-stage pipelines, lengthy QBRs)
- You see selling as pressure tactics rather than fit-finding
- You've used AI casually but don't actively build with it day to day
- You want to stay in your comfort zone with deal sizes you already know
Bonus
- You've sold to finance, accounting, or compliance teams in India
- You understand Indian finance well enough to talk about TDS, GST, and ERP without faking it
- You've been an early sales hire at a previous startup
- You've closed deals where the buyer was technical (CFOs at fintechs, finance teams at SaaS companies)
- You've built a personal book of relationships in the Indian CFO / finance head community
