Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for a Business Development Manager. In this position, the Manager will develop and execute strategic plans to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth, with a strong focus on B2C sales in the EdTech and AI-driven learning space. The role requires engaging directly with students, job seekers, and working professionals, understanding their learning and career needs, and recommending suitable AI-powered upskilling and learning solutions offered by AIVeda.
Daily responsibilities include lead generation, counseling and converting prospective learners, conducting product demos and career guidance sessions, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure high conversion and retention rates. The Manager will also work closely with marketing and product teams to align campaigns, optimize lead funnels, and improve customer acquisition strategies in the EdTech segment.
The role requires analyzing market trends in the EdTech and upskilling industry, preparing sales forecasts, tracking conversion metrics, and contributing to innovative growth strategies focused on learner acquisition and engagement. Strong communication skills, the ability to build trust with students and parents, and a deep understanding of B2C sales dynamics in the education sector are essential. Regular communication with internal stakeholders and the ability to effectively convey AIVeda’s AI-driven learning vision will be critical to success in this role.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience in business development, client management, and sales strategy formulation
- Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, and manage a portfolio of clients
- Knowledge in creating and implementing data-driven strategies
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in the technology or AI industry is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
