Key Requirements
· 6-8 years of experience in business development / sales
· Prior experience in office interiors, fit-outs, real estate, or construction is mandatory
· Strong network in Mumbai corporate ecosystem
· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
· Ability to understand drawings, layouts, and project lifecycle
Job Description
We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition and revenue growth for our office interiors business. This role requires a strong understanding of the commercial interiors market, the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers and a proven track record of closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in the corporate interiors space
· Build a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, brokers, and direct outreach
· Identify, engage, and influence key stakeholders such as Founders, Admin Heads, Facility Managers, and Procurement teams to drive business opportunities
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
· Understand client requirements, workspace needs, and project scope
· Build long-term relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
· Position Mumbai Interiors as a trusted workspace partner
Sales & Closures
· Lead all client-facing interactions including meetings and presentations; work closely with founders during advanced discussions and commercial closures
Market Intelligence
· Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing benchmarks
· Identify opportunities across sectors such as startups, IT, BFSI, and co-working spaces
Internal Coordination
· Ensure seamless handover from sales to design and execution teams
· Align client expectations with internal delivery capabilities
