Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & New Business Acquisition
The BDM should actively bring new business opportunities such as:
- Corporate clients
- Event planners
- Wedding planners
- Luxury farmhouses
- Clubs
- Banquet venues
- Production houses
- Embassy events
- Brand launches
- MICE events
Examples:
- Tie-ups with luxury venues in Delhi NCR
- Meeting HR/admin teams of companies
- Connecting with wedding planners
- Networking with concierge companies
2. Relationship Management
This is critical in catering.
The BDM should maintain strong relationships with:
- Existing clients
- Event agencies
- Venue owners
- Club managers
- Corporates
- High-net-worth families
A huge amount of catering revenue comes from repeat business and referrals.
3. Venue & Partnership Development
The person should identify:
- Premium lawns
- Farmhouses
- Banquet spaces
- Corporate parks
- Sports clubs
- Institutional venues
…and build preferred catering partnerships.
4. Corporate Catering Growth
A separate vertical itself.
The BDM should:
- Pitch annual contracts
- Corporate lunches
- Conferences
- Board meetings
- Employee meal solutions
- Festive hampers
- Offsite events
This creates recurring revenue instead of one-off events.
5. Sales Pipeline Management
They should maintain:

SALARY RANGE :- BETWEEN 40K TO 60K a month depending on candidate's personality and also there will be incentive of sales after achieving the target.
