Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in resource staffing acquisition and client development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and expanding staffing services across industries such as IT or Professional Services. This role requires strong market knowledge, excellent networking abilities, and the capability to drive revenue growth through strategic client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, develop, and acquire new clients for resource staffing and talent acquisition services.
* Generate business through direct sales, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders, hiring managers, and procurement teams.
* Understand client hiring needs and propose customized staffing solutions including contract, permanent, and project-based staffing.
* Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation, client meetings, proposal submission, negotiation, to deal closure.
* Work closely with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment of client requirements.
* Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
* Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities.
* Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to expand the company’s client base.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the Staffing / Recruitment industry.
* Strong experience in resource staffing acquisition and client relationship management.
* Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals, and achieve revenue targets.
* Strong understanding of IT staffing, contract staffing, and permanent hiring models.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
* Experience working with ATS/CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
* Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior experience in IT staffing, consulting, or workforce solutions companies.
* Existing industry network and client relationships in staffing or recruitment services.
* MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
