Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-orientated business development manager to drive growth in Bangalore and the surrounding region. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding Fonzel's market presence across our smart locker and logistics solutions verticals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for building meaningful client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams in the Bangalore and South India markets.
- Develop and execute regional business development strategies aligned with Fonzel's growth targets.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and industry events.
- Lead client presentations, proposals, negotiations, and contract closures.
- Collaborate with the operations, marketing, and product teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and upselling opportunities.
- Represent Fonzel at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- Provide weekly sales performance reports and market intelligence to the leadership team.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in B2B business development, enterprise sales, or key account management.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
Job Description
- Strong understanding of the logistics, smart infrastructure, or SaaS industry is a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite. Willingness to travel within the region as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
- MBA preferred (but not mandatory for exceptional candidates with a strong track record).
- Proficiency in English and Kannada; knowledge of Hindi is an advantage.
