About the Role
As a Business Development Manager – School Partnerships (B2B Tie-ups), you will be responsible for building and scaling strategic partnerships with schools, school groups, and K12 institutions. The role focuses on driving long-term institutional tie-ups, enabling collaborative programs, and embedding Leap as a trusted partner within the school ecosystem.
The Charter for This Role Will Include:
● Identify, onboard, and manage B2B partnerships with schools, school chains, and K12 coaching institutes.
● Build and nurture strong relationships with school leadership, principals, counselors, and academic heads.
● Structure and execute institutional tie-up models such as counseling partnerships, exclusive collaborations, and value-added programs for schools.
● Drive partner-led student engagement initiatives through schools to support lead generation and brand integration.
● Develop scalable partnership frameworks aligned with school needs and Yocket’s business objectives.
● Conduct market mapping and field outreach to identify high-potential schools and institutional partners.
● Act as the primary point of contact for partner schools, ensuring relationship continuity and growth.
● Collaborate closely with internal sales, counseling, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership deliverables.
● Track partnership performance and identify opportunities for upsell, renewal, and expansion.
Ideal Persona Would:
● Have 2+ years of experience in B2B business development, preferably in the education or edtech sector.
● Possess strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills within the school ecosystem.
● Have prior experience working with schools, principals, counselors, or institutional decision-makers.
● Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Mumbai school network and education landscape.
● Be field-oriented, proactive, and comfortable with regular school visits and meetings.
● Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination abilities
