Role Description
We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to own client acquisition globally. You’ll find brands and manufacturers anywhere in the world who need a serious partner to run or scale their e-commerce business in India and/or international marketplaces, and you’ll bring them in.
You don’t just send cold emails, you read a brand, understand its commercial gaps, and walk in with a point of view.
What You'll Own
• Build and run Karvaaa’s outbound pipeline across India and international markets (US, UK, EU, MENA, SEA — wherever the fit is).
• Identify high-fit brands and manufacturers: D2C, traditional exporters, marketplace-curious legacy players, and global brands looking to enter India.
• Run the full sales cycle - prospecting, qualification, discovery calls, audits, proposal, contract close.
• Co-build Statements of Work and pricing with the delivery team based on real client needs.
• Close deals and hit quarterly revenue targets. Build a referral engine off happy clients.
Qualifications
• 3–7 years in B2B sales / business development — ideally selling services to brands, manufacturers, or e-commerce sellers.
• You understand marketplaces. You know what Seller Central, Vendor Central and not just the buzzwords.
• Strong written English. Comfort speaking with international clients across time zones.
• You build pipelines from scratch. You’ve done outbound where you actually wrote the email, not just inherited a CRM.
