Principal Accountability:
Market Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with the company's long-term growth objectives across target markets and verticals.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging opportunities, whitespace segments, and competitive positioning gaps.
- Define and drive revenue targets, owning the full pipeline from lead generation through deal closure.
Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate high-value partnerships, alliances, and collaborations that expand the company's market footprint.
- Lead contract negotiations with key clients and partners, ensuring commercial terms align with business priorities.
Client & Account Strategy
- Build and manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, with a focus on deepening relationships, growing wallet share, and driving retention.
- Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, proactively identifying opportunities to deliver additional value.
Stakeholder & Cross-functional Leadership
- Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align go-to-market strategies and ensure seamless client delivery.
- Present business development performance, pipeline health, and market insights to senior leadership regularly.
Industry Presence & Brand Positioning
- Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and key networking platforms to strengthen brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to continuously refine the business development approach.
Essential Requirements for Fitment (Key attributes):
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and basic marketing tools.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong follow-up skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Team-oriented with a problem-solving attitude.
