About the role
We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to develop and strengthen relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, and Developers across Ahmedabad and surrounding regions. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, increasing brand visibility, and driving project-based sales through strong market networking and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, and Developers.
- Identify upcoming residential & commercial projects.
- Generate leads and convert opportunities into business closures.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Coordinate with design, estimation, and execution teams for project requirements.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and techno-commercial presentations.
- Regularly visit architect firms, project sites, and channel partners.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Participate in exhibitions, networking events, and industry meets.
- Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, and daily activity reports.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Business Development / Sales within:
Architectural products
Building materials
Interior products
Construction / Infrastructure
- Strong network with Architects and Interior Designers in the Ahmedabad market preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong client handling and relationship management ability.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel locally.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in project sales and specification sales.
- Knowledge of architectural and construction industry practices.
- Ability to understand drawings, BOQs, and project requirements.
- Candidate with existing architect/developer contacts will be preferred.
