The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, develop, and generate new business opportunities in freight forwarding (Air & Sea).
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with exporters, importers, and logistics partners.
• Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
• Manage and oversee the sales team across the organization, providing guidance and support to ensure team performance and target achievement.
• Monitor team performance and ensure alignment with the company’s sales strategies and business objectives.
• Prepare rate quotations, negotiate contracts, and close business deals.
• Coordinate with operations and documentions teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
• Ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
• Prepare and submit sales reports, performance reports, and business updates as prescribed by the management from time to time.
Key Requirements
• 5–7 years of proven experience in freight forwarding/logistics sales.
• Strong existing customer base with active revenue generation.
• Good knowledge of international freight (Air & Sea), customs clearance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Target-driven with strong networking ability.
• Ability to work independently while also leading and motivating a sales team.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
