About JAXL Business Phone
JAXL Business Phone is an AI-powered communications operating system that combines business telephony, business numbers, IVR, routing, recordings, analytics, SIP/IP support, and AI voice workflows in one platform.

About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially sharp Business Development Manager to help build pipeline and create qualified opportunities for JAXL Business Phone.
This is not a brand-only or campaign-only marketing role. This is a sales and GTM role focused on:
- Identifying high-fit target accounts
- Understanding client workflows
- Mapping JAXL use cases to business problems
- Running discovery conversations and demos
- Moving qualified opportunities toward pilot / trial / closure
The ideal candidate should be comfortable selling a relatively new category where clients often do not initially ask for the product directly — and need to be educated through business use cases.
Key Responsibilities
1- Identify high-fit target accounts across industries such as ecommerce, real estate, education, services, support, telephony, healthcare, housing societies, and operational businesses.
2- Conduct account research to understand the prospect's workflow, communication pain points, and likely JAXL use cases.
3- Build outbound pipeline through cold calling, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and field meetings.
4- Run discovery calls to understand current workflow, communication gaps, repetitive calling burden, revenue/support/ops impact, and pilot readiness.
5- Present and demo JAXL Business Phone in a use-case-led manner rather than only a feature-led manner.
Work with founders / internal teams on proposals, pilots, use-case customization, and onboarding.
6- Maintain clear CRM hygiene and stage movement across prospecting, discovery, demo, proposal, pilot, and onboarding.
7- Share market insights, objections, and customer feedback to improve JAXL's sales narrative and product packaging.
8- Achieve pipeline and revenue targets within defined timelines.

What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Graduate or Post-Graduate in BBA, MBA, Commerce, Economics, or equivalent
- Strong interest in B2B sales, SaaS sales, telephony, automation, AI products, or workflow-based selling
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of consultative selling and discovery-led sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High ownership, target orientation, and follow-up discipline
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building ability
- Ability to understand a prospect's workflow and map the right business use case
Strong presentation and demo capability
Familiarity with CRM / pipeline management tools
Experience with lead generation tools (Apollo, Lusha, Leadfeeder, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is a plus
Experience in SaaS, cloud telephony, CPaaS, CRM, AI tools, or B2B software sales is a strong plus
