Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Business Development Manager. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. Key responsibilities include strategizing and executing plans to grow the customer base, providing insights into market trends, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality service. The individual will also be expected to represent iQuippo at industry events and foster partnerships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Business Development, Sales, and Account Management
- Proficiency in Client Relationship Management and Negotiation skills
- Ability to identify potential sellers through market networking and business development activities.
- Familiarity with pricing trends, scrap valuation, and market movement analysis.
- Strong Market Research and Data Analysis capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written Communication and Presentation skills
- Knowledge of the construction equipment, automobile, or related sectors is a strong Additional advantage
- Understanding of how E-Auction Platforms work, including online bidding processes, auction participation, vendor onboarding, bid management, and post-auction coordination.
- Experience in handling industrial clients, recyclers, steel plants, manufacturing units, or scrap aggregators will be an added advantage.
- Strong coordination skills for managing auction-based sales and client engagement activities.
- Candidates from Scrap Industry, Metal Recycling, Construction Equipment, Automobile, or Industrial Trading background will be preferred.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates with B.E. in Metallurgy will be given preference. MBA will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office applications, and online auction/e-commerce platforms.
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, auctions, and industry events as required.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of targets
