Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Sales Executive / Sales Manager to lead business growth at InUnity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing existing institutional relationships and acquiring new business across higher educational institutions.
This role requires strong communication, presentation skills, and the ability to clearly articulate InUnity’s value proposition to decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development (New Sales)
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities across institutions and organizations.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demos to showcase InUnity’s programs and offerings.
- Develop proposals, business pitches, and customized solutions for potential partners.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
- 2. Account Management (Existing Business)
- Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing partner institutions.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional programs or services.
- Ensure partner satisfaction, timely delivery, and operational alignment with internal teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for institutional stakeholders.
- 3. Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct market mapping to identify potential regions, institutions, and new verticals.
- Track competitor offerings, pricing insights, and sector trends to refine InUnity’s sales approach.
- Contribute to strategic planning for regional and national expansion.
- 4. Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with the delivery, operations, and program teams for smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop pitch materials, case studies, and promotional content.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, networking forums, and CSR gatherings to generate leads.
- 5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain detailed sales reports, CRM updates, forecasts, and revenue tracking.
- Document key client communication, contracts, and agreements.
- Provide management with regular updates on sales performance and future pipeline.
- Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in B2B sales, institutional sales, or educational services sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage with senior leadership in institutions (principals, deans, directors, trustees).
- Experience developing proposals and structuring commercial deals.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Comfortable with travel as the role requires frequent institution visits across regions.
- A passion for the education, innovation, or EdTech sector is a strong advantage.
- Preferred Experience
- Experience selling to colleges, universities, or govt. skill development schemes.
- Background in EdTech, training services, CSR programs, or institutional partnerships.
- Prior experience in program-based or solution-based sales.
