Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager based in Gurugram, with flexibility for some remote work. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with local retail partners, and designing strategic initiatives to expand Hubb's reach. Daily responsibilities include prospecting for potential business partners, managing the sales pipeline, leading client presentations, negotiating contracts, and maintaining long-term client relationships to foster business growth. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and reporting on key business metrics are also integral parts of this role.
Qualifications
- Business Development and Sales: Proven ability to identify leads, build relationships, and close deals with prospective business partners.
- Strategic Thinking and Market Research: Experience in analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and developing actionable strategies.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to present, negotiate, and maintain professional relationships effectively.
- Project and Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and basic understanding of loyalty programs or retail ecosystems are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; prior experience in business development, account management, or sales is highly preferred.
- Proactive mindset with problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
