Role Summary
- Position: Business Development Manager (BDM) – Field / Corporate Sales
- Experience: 3 to 6 years of proven experience in B2B/Field Sales
- Location: Patna, Bihar (Extensive local field travel required)
- Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Local Market Mapping: Identify, target, and pitch to high-potential local business sectors in Patna (e.g., premium healthcare facilities/hospitals, real estate developers, coaching institutes, retail chains, and manufacturing units).
- End-to-End Sales Closure: Conduct face-to-face meetings with business owners, Managing Directors, and decision-makers. Diagnose their current digital gaps and close high-value monthly retainers and project contracts.
- Bypassing Gatekeepers: Utilize seasoned field sales strategies to successfully navigate past receptionists or managers to connect directly with the primary decision-makers.
- Consultative Selling: Translate technical agency deliverables (like SEO ranking, UI/UX design, and lead-generation funnels) into tangible business ROI that local business owners easily understand.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, manage follow-ups, and transition newly closed clients smoothly to the technical execution team.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience Profile: 3+ years of experience on the ground in B2B sales, Corporate Sales, or Digital Space Selling. (Prior experience working with Justdial, IndiaMART, Sulekha, corporate banking, or telecom business sales in Patna is a massive plus).
- Market Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Patna's major commercial and business hubs (e.g., Boring Road, Fraser Road, Bailey Road, Kankarbagh, Exhibition Road).
- Closing Skills: A proven track record of meeting and exceeding monthly revenue targets. High resilience and mastery over objection handling.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills in both Hindi and English. Ability to command respect in a boardroom or a business office.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and a personal vehicle (two-wheeler/four-wheeler) for daily client visits.
