Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role located in Mumbai. The Business Development Manager will oversee the acquisition of new business opportunities, establish and nurture client relationships, and aim to achieve and exceed sales targets. The role will include activities such as prospecting potential business opportunities, networking with stakeholders, developing sales strategies, devising client-focused solutions, and preparing detailed proposals to align with client needs. The position also involves market analysis to identify opportunities and challenges, ensuring growth and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in business development, client relationship management, and sales strategies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct market research and analyze data for identifying opportunities
- Experience preparing proposals, presentations, and customized client solutions
- Goal-oriented mindset and ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Knowledge of the financial and insurance sector is advantageous
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field
- Experience in a business development or sales role; prior experience in the insurance domain is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and adapt to evolving market dynamics
