Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a pipeline of residential and commercial clients, and conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations. The role includes nurturing relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and other partners, as well as preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals for home cinema, automation, and audio solutions. The Business Development Manager will work closely with technical and design teams to ensure accurate scoping, pricing, and project handover, while tracking sales performance, preparing periodic reports, and providing market feedback to inform strategy. Day-to-day responsibilities also include attending industry events, monitoring competitor activity, and representing the brand professionally in all client interactions.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in business development, sales, and account management, ideally in audio-visual, home automation, consumer electronics, or related premium solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions in clear, client-friendly terms.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with architects, interior designers, real estate developers, and other ecosystem partners.
- Solid organizational, planning, and CRM skills to manage pipelines, follow-ups, and documentation efficiently.
- Understanding of or interest in home theater, high-end audio, networking, and lifestyle automation technologies (training can be provided).
- Ability to work on-site, travel locally for client and partner meetings, and adapt to a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in premium or luxury solutions selling and a strong customer-service mindset are highly beneficial.
