About the Role
Airwallex is hiring a Global Sales Manager to lead and scale outbound B2B sales initiatives focused on SME and growth customers across international markets.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong global sales leadership, SaaS sales, fintech sales, enterprise sales, or revenue growth experience who thrive in fast-paced, high-performance environments.
You will lead global sales initiatives, optimize sales processes, drive revenue growth, coach teams, and collaborate with international stakeholders to scale go-to-market operations across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive end-to-end B2B sales ownership including lead generation, qualification, discovery, negotiation, closure, onboarding, and customer activation
- Build and scale high-performing outbound sales teams across international markets
- Manage pipeline generation, conversion metrics, revenue targets, and sales performance KPIs
- Execute scalable go-to-market (GTM) strategies for SME and growth customer segments
Team Leadership & Sales Enablement
- Hire, mentor, and coach global sales teams to improve performance and sales effectiveness
- Conduct training programs focused on negotiation, deal closure, and sales best practices
- Develop sales playbooks, structured workflows, and standardized sales processes
- Review sales calls, analyze win-loss trends, and provide actionable feedback to improve conversion outcomes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with regional sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across global markets
- Collaborate with operations, customer success, and product teams to improve customer experience
- Operate across multiple time zones and support international market expansion initiatives
Technology & Process Optimization
- Use CRM systems, AI sales tools, automation platforms, and reporting tools to improve productivity
- Optimize sales cycle velocity, forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiency
- Drive process improvements using data-driven decision-making approaches
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or revenue growth roles
- 5+ years of experience managing or scaling global/international sales teams
- Strong experience in SaaS, fintech, payments, or enterprise technology sales environments
- Proven ability to manage full-cycle enterprise or mid-market sales processes
- Strong experience in pipeline management, deal negotiation, and revenue ownership
- Experience working across global markets and international time zones
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and coaching skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools, AI-driven sales tools, automation platforms, and modern sales operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a performance-driven approach
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
