About the Role
Airwallex is a global financial technology company redefining how businesses manage international payments, treasury, and embedded finance — serving startups, mid-sized businesses, and enterprises across 200+ countries. We're hiring a Sales Manager to build, lead, and scale a high-performing outbound sales team focused on SME clients across the Americas. You'll own the full sales cycle — from pipeline generation to deal closure — and drive measurable revenue growth in one of Airwallex's most strategic global markets.
What You'll Work On
- Build, hire, and scale a high-performing outbound sales team focused on SME clients across the Americas
- Own end-to-end B2B sales including lead generation, discovery, solutioning, negotiation, closure, and onboarding
- Track and optimize sales performance metrics — pipeline generation, conversion rates, revenue targets, and deal closures
- Design and implement sales playbooks, negotiation frameworks, and standardized closing strategies
- Partner with regional sales leadership to execute and scale global GTM strategies across multiple time zones
What You Bring
- 8+ years of experience in sales with at least 5+ years managing global or international sales teams
- Strong track record in B2B full-cycle sales — pipeline management, deal negotiation, and revenue generation
- Proven ability to hire, train, and scale high-performing sales teams consistently exceeding targets
- Strong command of CRM platforms, AI-driven sales tools, and workflow automation systems
- Flexibility to operate across Americas time zones and collaborate with global regional teams
Bonus Points: Experience in fintech, payments, or SaaS industries | Exposure to SME segment sales in international markets | Familiarity with AI-powered sales productivity tools
