About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager with 2–6 years of proven experience in selling B2B ideally in outsourced accounting, tax compliance, and payroll services. The ideal candidate will drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate new business leads through personal networks, outbound campaigns, and digital channels.
- Suggest innovative lead generation strategies to the management and marketing teams.
- Represent Finsmart India at industry events, professional forums, and networking meetups to build visibility and expand the client base.
- Implement and manage a CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and conversion metrics.
- Maintain updated lead data and share regular reports and insights with management.
- Plan own calendar, share weekly updates and structured feedback with the marketing team regarding lead quality, market trends, and competitor pricing/offers.
- Work closely with the management team to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Qualify, nurture, and close leads generated through the new Finsmart India website and other marketing efforts.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 2–6 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in accounting, payroll, or tax compliance services.
- Proven ability to manage the complete sales cycle — from prospecting to closing.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-based environment.
