Role Description
We are seeking a high-energy, strategic Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our Portfolio Management Services (PMS). Your primary mission is to expand our Assets Under Management (AUM) by identifying and acquiring High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs) and Ultra-HNIs, as well as building a robust network of third-party distributors and channel partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Direct Client Acquisition: Identify, pitch to, and onboard HNIs and corporate clients through proactive networking and lead generation.
• Channel Partner Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with independent financial advisors (IFAs), wealth management firms, and chartered accountants to promote our PMS offerings.
• Market Positioning: Clearly communicate our investment philosophy, performance track record, and risk management strategies to sophisticated investors.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a quarterly sales plan to meet AUM targets and expand our geographic footprint.
• Client Relationship Management: Act as the initial point of contact for new clients, ensuring a seamless onboarding process and long-term trust.
Qualifications
- Prior experience of working in wealth management preferably a PMS, minimum 2 years
- An existing network of HNI clients and distributors
- Understanding of financial markets, asset allocation and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on negotiation skills
- Fluent in English and Hindi
- Bachelors degree in finance or economics
