Role Summary
The Business Development Executive/Manager will be responsible for acquiring new clients, expanding existing accounts and driving revenue growth for IT staffing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in IT staffing
- Acquiring new clients through prospecting, networking and market research
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Understand client hiring needs and propose appropriate staffing solutions
- Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure timely delivery
- Manage contract negotiations, commercials, and service agreements
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue growth
- Track sales activities and maintain reports
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–15+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales
- Prior experience in IT Staffing, Recruitment or HR Services is preferred
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to generate leads and close deals
- Good understanding of IT hiring landscape and client expectations
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
What Business Development Executive/ Manager owns:
- Drive end-to-end business development for IT staffing services
- Identify, target, and acquire new clients (mid-size to enterprise)
- Generate leads via cold calling, networking, LinkedIn and market research
- Conduct client meetings, present staffing capabilities and close deals
- Build long-term relationships and grow existing accounts
- Work closely with recruiters to ensure delivery alignment & client satisfaction
- Negotiate commercials, contracts and SLAs
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets
