Business Development Manager – Events & Experiential Marketing

We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager with a strong “hunter mindset” who can open new doors, generate leads, secure new clients, and drive large business opportunities for the company.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, generating leads, building strategic partnerships, and expanding EMG’s client base. The candidate should have strong networking capabilities across corporates, advertising agencies, hospitality industry, travel companies, luxury brands, and government organizations.
The role requires someone capable of identifying opportunities, pitching innovative event solutions, handling government projects, and closing large-scale business deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business leads and actively pursue opportunities for corporate events, product launches, brand activations, and experiential marketing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate decision makers, marketing heads, agencies, and industry partners.
- Identify and secure government projects, tenders, and institutional event opportunities.
- Leverage personal industry networks to generate business and expand the company’s client base.
- Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Present innovative event concepts and technology-led experiences to prospective clients.
- Develop strategic partnerships with hotels, agencies, travel companies, and corporate networks.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term engagement.
- Collaborate with creative, production, and strategy teams to deliver winning proposals.
- Contribute to business expansion strategies and revenue growth targets for the company.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in Business Development / Sales within Events, Advertising, Hospitality, Travel, Government Projects, or Service Industry.
- Proven experience in lead generation, networking, and closing new business deals.
- Experience in handling government tenders, institutional clients, or large corporate accounts will be an added advantage.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Highly self-driven, target-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.
