Who we are looking for: A hands-on operator who can sell, run F&B, manage vendors, and confidently lead a live banquet transition — all without missing a beat on service quality or revenue targets.
Core responsibilities
Business Development & Event Sales
- Generate and convert leads for weddings, corporate MICE, social events, and private dining
- Build and manage a pipeline of Corporate Rate Agreements (CRAs), travel agents, and event planners
- Drive revenue across banquet, F&B, and ancillary verticals — own the full sales P&L
- Create competitive event packages: weddings, off-sites, product launches, AGMs, conferences
- Leverage WhatsApp Business, Google Business Profile, and Instagram for direct inquiries and conversions
F&B Operations Setup & Management
- Set up and run restaurant, bar, banquet kitchen, and room service from scratch if required
- Define and enforce SOPs for kitchen operations, hygiene, and service standards
- Ensure FSSAI compliance, regular hygiene audits, and responsible beverage service
- Grow F&B revenue via dining experiences, promotions, and delivery platform tie-ups
Banquet Transition Management
- Lead seamless handover of existing banquet operations — staff, inventory, vendors, and bookings
- Audit current operations: equipment condition, vendor contracts, booking calendar, SOPs in place
- Ensure zero disruption to in-progress events and confirmed bookings during transition
- Rebuild or reinforce teams, retrain staff, and re-negotiate vendor agreements as needed
- Establish new workflows, reporting structures, and KPIs from day one of takeover
Vendor & Procurement Management
- Build and manage vendor ecosystem: F&B, linen, décor, AV, security, IT, engineering
- Negotiate MSA/SLA contracts benchmarked to market rates; target 10–15% annual savings
- Ensure all vendors hold valid GST, FSSAI, and regulatory certifications
- Monitor vendor performance, resolve escalations, and maintain backup supplier relationships

Led or set up F&B operations end-to-endManaged a banquet or event sales vertical with P&L ownershipHandled a hotel or banquet operational transition / takeoverBuilt and managed vendor ecosystems from scratchClosed corporate accounts, CRAs, and MICE dealsStrong grasp of OTA dynamics and digital sales channelsIHM / IHCL or equivalent certification (preferred)Fluent in English & Hindi; regional language a plus5–12 years in hotel / banquet / F&B operations and salesCalm under pressure — especially during live event transitions
Important — please read before applying: This role requires someone who can manage a live, running banquet while simultaneously driving new business. If you have only done sales without operations, or only operations without business development, this may not be the right match at this time.
