Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bilaspur. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting the company’s project management and construction services. The day-to-day work includes researching potential clients, preparing and delivering proposals and presentations, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with the project and technical teams to align client requirements with service offerings. The Business Development Manager will track market trends, participate in industry events, maintain a sales pipeline and CRM records, and provide regular reports and forecasts to leadership. The role also involves collaborating on marketing activities and contributing to strategic planning to support business growth in industrial construction.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and client relationship management.
- Experience in proposal writing, bid preparation, and contract negotiation for construction or engineering projects.
- Solid understanding of construction or industrial project management processes, services, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients at multiple levels.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic data analysis for reporting and forecasting.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in business development within construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors is highly beneficial.
