2. Market & Client Development

  • Identify new business opportunities across government bodies, PSUs, private enterprises, and project developers.
  • Build and nurture CXO-level relationships to position the company as a preferred infrastructure partner.

3. Tendering, Bidding & Strategic Partnerships

  • Lead tender identification, pre-qualification, bid preparation, and submission along with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with OEMs, contractors, consultants, and system integrators to strengthen the bid competitiveness.
  • Evaluate RFPs, contract terms, and technical documents to ensure compliance and feasibility.

4. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Bring customer intelligence into product/solution refinement and innovation.

5. Governance, Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain transparent reporting of pipeline, forecasting, and business metrics using CRM and BD dashboards.
  • Track deal progress, manage risks, ensure timely escalations, and maintain accountability until project award.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of infrastructure ecosystems: construction, utilities, EPC, industrial, or similar sectors.
  • Proven track record of winning mid-to-large scale infrastructure deals.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with government and private sector stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen: pricing, contracts, tendering, financial models.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to drive multi-stakeholder collaboration and influence decision-making.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—proactive, resilient, and target-driven.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology preferred (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related).
  • MBA in Marketing / Business Strategy is an added advantage.

Experience Required

  • 6–12 years of experience in business development, sales, tender management, or strategic partnerships in infrastructure or EPC-related industries.
